Revolutionary environmentally friendly technology for bacteria, microbes , viruses, algae, Fungi, mold and yeast  protection. SafeShield Antimicrobial is unique in its application and performance. It does not  poison microorganisms, you or the environment. SafeShield works in a totally different  way  from  conventional  poisonous   anti-microbial   products.  It  covalently bonds a permanent positively charged polymer to the treated surface, like a thin  layer of swords. When microbes come in contact with the SafeShield treated  surface, the quaternarymamine “sword” (pictured)  punctures the cell membrane  and the positive nitrogen molecule “electrocutes” the cell and blows it apart, for a  de-pendable kill.

More than thirty five years ago, the need for an antimicrobial that did not leach into the environment was recognised by the scientists at Bayrouti Laboratories Ltd. These scientists discovered the SafeShield Nano-Biostatic Nanoscopic Antimicrobial technology. Today, most people agree that controlling both microbial, viruses and environmental sensitivity are important.  The SafeShield Antimicrobial delivers on both accounts and is truly unique.

SafeShield is safe for you and the environment.
SafeShield is non-toxic. It does not off-gas, leach, diffuse, migrate or volatilise andit does not leave the surface it has been applied to.

Conventional antimicrobial sanitizers and disinfectants are designed to diffuse, and be absorbed by, micro-organisms to poison and cause fatal mutations.

These poisons can also leach dangerous toxins into the environment and can have a lethal effect on humans, wildlife and our planet. Most current cleaning  methods wipe the bacteria, microbe & germs from one place to another, then  wash some of them away, along with the poisonous chemicals, into our  waterways. The treated sur-face is ready to be infected again almost immediately.

This can lead to microbe resistance and adaptations, which cause mutations into
“SUPERBUGS”. ‘Superbugs’ are bugs that any of us can generate & transmit, and can be unresponsive to known antibiotic or antimicrobial treatments (other than SafeShield).

A well-known multi-resistant bacterium becoming more widespread today is MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) and we all have a responsibility to prevent its devastating effects, such as critical illnesses, which can result in limb
amputations, other infectious diseases, or even death.

Here are examples of what SafeShield2Y kills.
Microbes and Bacteria
Klebsiella pneumoniae*, Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Pseudomonas), Salmonella enterica (Salmonella) Escherichia, Ecoli (E.coli). Streptococcus pyogenes (Strep), Staphylococcus aureus Methicillin-Resistant
(MRSA), Staphylococcus aureus Multi-Drug Resistant, Listeria, Mould, Mildew, Fungus, Algae, Yeast, Legionnaires Disease, and hundreds more.

Influenza Type A/Brazil Influenza
(H1N1) Adenovirus Type 5 (Adenovirus). Human Coronavirus (MERS), Hepatitis B Virus, Hepatitis C Virus, Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1, Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2, HIV-1 (the AIDS Virus)Respiratory
Syncytial Virus (RSV), Vaccinia (Pox Virus)
Norwalk Virus (Norovirus).

Bacteria are such fast-growing organisms that a single microbe can grow to more than 16,000,000 microbes within aneight-hour period.

Under a microscope, a surface that has been treated with SafeShield would look like it was covered in thousands of tiny swords. Microbes cannot live on surfaces protected by SafeShield because the positive nitrogen centre of the SafeShield spike attracts microbes, and the long carbon chain punctures the cell membrane destroying the microbe on contact. The combination of stabbing and electrocution allows the technology to be fully effective as long as the surface remains intact.

How Does SafeShield Compare?

Non leaching
Non carcinogenic
Impossible to mutate
Long-life 24/7 for two years
invisible shield
Prevents cross contamination
One application
Non-toxic to humans, animals and environment
Non corrosive

SafeShield's positively charged nitrogen atom ruptures the cell wall of the microbe upon contact. The microbe is then blown apart and completely destroyed, before ever making contact with the surface of the material protected by SafeShield Nano-biostatic nanoscopic technology.

SafeShield is a long-chain polymer comprised of saline, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon, and once applied will remain on the surface for two years or greater.

Safety: Less Stress on the Environment
SafeShield products are the environmentally friendly and user friendly antimicrobial technology. These products contain no heavy metals, arsenic, tin or polychlorinated phenols. SafeShield products addresses the two main ecological concerns associated with leaching antimicrobials: bleeding harmful toxins into the environment.

What is Biofilm?

Infection Control Specialists not only need to kill dangerous microbe, bacteria, viruses & disease,
but more importantly MUST destroy and eliminate biofilm and it’s ability to take hold.

Biofilm is a community of single-celled microorganisms which forms and thrives on surfaces.
Biofilm may contain a wide range of dangerous microorganisms which function, and even thrive, in a community seing.
Biofilm has an insulaing effect which protects microorganisms beneath the surface layers from conventional cleaners which rely on quickly dissipating lethal chemicals.
Biofilm is a major cause of antimicrobial resistance.
Biofilm is a breeding ground for microorganisms which becomes increasingly resistant to conventional cleaning methods as a result of mutaon. Many conventional cleaners may actually facilitate the spread of disease by inffectively eradicating populations, and thereby creating more resilient and dangerous strains.
FACT: 80% of all human infections are caused by some sort of biofilm.
