Revolutionary environmentally friendly technology for bacteria, microbes , viruses, algae, Fungi, mold and yeast  protection. SafeShield Antimicrobial is unique in its application and performance. It does not  poison microorganisms, you or the environment. SafeShield works in a totally different  way  from  conventional  poisonous   anti-microbial   products.  It  covalently bonds a permanent positively charged polymer to the treated surface, like a thin  layer of swords. When microbes come in contact with the SafeShield treated  surface, the quaternarymamine “sword” (pictured)  punctures the cell membrane  and the positive nitrogen molecule “electrocutes” the cell and blows it apart, for a  de-pendable kill.

Bacteria are such fast-growing organisms that a single microbe can grow to more than 16,000,000 microbes within aneight-hour period.

Under a microscope, a surface that has been treated with SafeShield would look like it was covered in thousands of tiny swords. Microbes cannot live on surfaces protected by SafeShield because the positive nitrogen centre of the SafeShield spike attracts microbes, and the long carbon chain punctures the cell membrane destroying the microbe on contact. The combination of stabbing and electrocution allows the technology to be fully effective as long as the surface remains intact.

SafeShield's positively charged nitrogen atom ruptures the cell wall of the microbe upon contact. The microbe is then blown apart and completely destroyed, before ever making contact with the surface of the material protected by SafeShield Nano-biostatic nanoscopic technology.

SafeShield is a long-chain polymer comprised of saline, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon, and once applied will remain on the surface for two years or greater.
